Mr. Connor Lamb is a civil/environmental engineer with 20 years of experience in the field of upland and in-water heavy civil construction, much of it in environmental remediation. His combined engineering and construction background spans multiple engineering and design sectors and includes a robust foundation in sediment remediation. Connor has spent the last 5 years as an environmental consultant where he has developed multiple engineering and remediation projects from concept to implementation. He has conducted concept development, estimating, alternatives analysis, feasibility studies, design, permitting, constructability review, contract preparation, preparation of plans and specifications, contractor procurement, construction oversight, project tracking, and construction management.
Connor worked in many capacities in the field, ranging from equipment operator to dredge operator. His unique career path has allowed him to be an integral contributor at multiple stages to many expansive heavy civil and environmental projects, such as conversion of a landfill into a golf course applying dredge slurry as a cap component; hydraulic dredging and dewatering sediment in a regional recreation area reservoir; implementing precision dredging as a component of the overall revitalization of 40 acres of waterfront property with extensive soil, groundwater, and sediment impacts; the large-scale urban waterfront cleanup on the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon, just upstream of the Portland Harbor Superfund Site.
Connor’s combined engineering and construction background provides him with a holistic understanding of technical design elements and construction applications and processes. This exceptional combined experience makes him a valuable project resource able to contribute at any project stage, including: concept design; development of potential alternatives; preparing reality based cost estimates, specifications, and plans; performing design and constructability reviews; and overseeing implementation.
